Barkeria lindleyana var. centerae Endrés & Rchb.f., Gard. Chron. 1597. 1873.

TYPE: Mr. Endres, has discovered a very beautiful, prettier-coloured variety of it in Costa Rica, which has a beautifully blotched column, A.R. Endrés s.n. (holotype, W).
